Chuck Stine

I’ve been working on homes since I was a teenager, studied architecture in college, and started Stine Builders in 1986. I’ve been designing and building new homes, remodels, and commercial buildouts in the Bay Area since then. I have been fortunate to work with many wonderful clients, employees, subcontractors, suppliers and design professionals, creating a team of high caliber professionals dedicated to quality, sustainability, affordability through value engineering, and customer appreciation.

Projects have ranged from new homes, additions and remodels to restaurants, stores, gyms and video production studios throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. As a designer, I listen to my clients and strive to develop a design with them and the design team that fully reflects the client’s needs within their budget. As a builder, I rely on my extensive building knowledge and experience and a strict adherence to best building practices, master craftsmanship, and dedication to sustainability, energy efficiency and value to deliver top quality projects at an affordable cost for better living and working spaces for our clients.

My education includes a BA in Environmental Design from UC Santa Cruz, an MBA in real estate from UC Berkeley, and over 50 more recent courses on building science and HVAC, including LEED AP & BPI Building Analyst certifications. I am journey level qualified in several building trades.
